Hyderabad Airport
The Hyderabad Airport at Begumpet since 1930 is well-linked to other cities in India and to international destinations including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, especially Singapore and Malaysia, and most recently to Chicago. A new International Airport is being constructed in the outskirts of the city, and once complete, it will take over from the exisitng Airprot. The Begumpet airport now suffers from overcrowding, this has led to major problems, especially in the domestic terminal, and conditions are cramped, unattractive, and sometimes unsanitary.To meet growing population needs new airport is started building off Shamshabad, which lies on the outskirts of the city. The new airport, once completed, will be able to provide much needed infrastructure to handle large aircraft, and international traffic.
Hyderabad rails :
Hyderabad has a light rail transportation system known as the MultiModal Transport System (MMTS)There are three main Railway Stations: Secundrabad Railway Station, Hyderabad Railway Station (Nampally). Kachiguda Railway StationThe MMTS connects various parts of the city with Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Lingampally and Falaknuma.
Hyderabad roads
Hyderabad is well connected with the various important cities of country. There is a network of roads which connects one city to another. The city has also one of the best laid out internal road systems. A series of flyovers decrease the traffic congestion in the city. Many of the important roads are 3-lane on either side.The bus service of Andhra pradesh is the largest state transport undertaking in the world and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records this government bus system was started in 1932 and consists about 19000 buses .
